
Synchronize Bhinneka Tunggal Musik Festival’s first day kicked off in grand fashion at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, featuring the Dynamic, Getar, District, Lake, Forest, Gigs, XYZ stages, and the Record Market (Kaleng Kerupuk) area. On the opening day, Project Pop took the stage, leading the way for a diverse lineup of artists. This year marked the festival’s eighth installment, and it continued to attract a dedicated following of music and art enthusiasts in Indonesia.
The festival boasted a wide array of stages, including Dynamic, Getar, District, Lake, Forest, Gigs, XYZ, and the creatively vibrant Record Market area. The first day of the festival commenced with Project Pop, a comedic vocal group that entertained the audience with their hit songs.
Synchronize Festival this year showcased a significant change in sound production, introducing the use of the L-Acoustics system on the Dynamic and District Stages, setting international standards for audio quality. This was a pivotal step in the festival’s efforts to provide a more powerful and captivating musical experience.
The District stage treated the audience to performances by renowned musicians such as Fiersa Besari, J-Rocks, Jamrud, Barasuara, The Changcuters, and Weird Genius. Meanwhile, the Gigs stage offered a platform for newcomers like Primitive Monkey Noose to shine on the main stage.
As the question mark appeared on the event’s pamphlet, a surprise unfolded with the appearance of the legendary band Seringai, delivering rare material and mesmerizing cover songs that thrilled the audience. Additionally, the festival introduced the Getar Stage, which featured a unique collaboration between dangdut orchestras and various musicians from different regions.
The Forest stage presented various captivating performances, including for Revenge, Bangkutaman, Morfem, Jamie Aditya, and Momonon. One of the unforgettable moments was the collaboration between for Revenge and Cynantia Pratita Stereowall.
The festival also offered various off-stage activities, including the Record Market area, which showcased merchandise and physical releases by local musicians. There was also the Lomba Gold Sprint and numerous stalls from creative SMEs that added to the overall festival experience.
