Celebrating Purposeful Participation: Best Participants Honored at Korea Youth Summit 2025

Bingkai Karya – The Korea Youth Summit 2025, hosted by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), has officially recognized four exceptional delegates with the Best Participants Award, a celebration of presence, teamwork, and meaningful engagement throughout the summit.

This award highlights not only what was said during formal presentations, but how participants listened, contributed, connected, and supported others during all activities.

Junior Category: Curiosity and Enthusiasm in Action

The Junior Best Participants Award was given to:

  • Iveel Davaasuren (Mongolia)
  • Dinmukhamed Turgan (Kazakhstan)

Both were recognized for their active involvement in group discussions, deep respect for cultural diversity, and their eagerness to learn and connect.

Dinmukhamed Turgan, upon receiving the award, shared:

“Firstly, I was very surprised because I didn’t think I would receive an award. But I feel very happy and excited about it. Korea Youth Summit! Living Culture, Lasting Legacy.”

Senior Category: Leadership Through Empathy and Action

The Senior Best Participants Award went to:

  • Maghda Serafin Azizah (Indonesia)
  • Abdul Rahim Ali Mussa (Zanzibar, Tanzania)

These senior delegates were praised for their emotional intelligence, leadership, and commitment to building an inclusive atmosphere during the summit.

Abdul Rahim Ali Mussa reflected:

“I feel great because actually I did not expect it before. But yes, I deserve it, because I showed some sympathies during this program.”

When asked for advice to youth, he added:

“Preserving culture is so important for every age and every country. We have to know that culture is the identity of the nation. It’s fine for everyone to preserve their culture, and it’s so important. Like you see me here, I wear my culture. These clothes identify where I’m from.”

Judging Criteria: Actions That Inspire

Unlike awards based on formal presentations, the Best Participants Award was determined through careful observation of delegates’ behavior and contribution during the summit. The judging panel considered:

  • Consistent engagement in summit sessions
  • Cross-cultural communication and collaboration
  • Openness to learning and new ideas
  • Leadership through supportive action

True Impact Through Everyday Presence

The winners of the Best Participants Award at Korea Youth Summit 2025 have shown that leadership is not only about speaking well, but about showing up with heart, listening with respect, and acting with intention.

Their efforts created a more inclusive and meaningful summit experience for all, and reminded us that real influence is built through the way we treat others, every step of the way.

Congratulations to all the Best Participants of Korea Youth Summit 2025!
