According to NASA’s global temperature analysis, June 2023 has reached the peak of the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth for the last 174 years.
June 2023’s temperature is known as the hottest temperature on Earth by NASA’s weather stations, Antarctic research stations, as well as instruments mounted on ships and ocean buoys. This year’s June is slightly hotter compared to June two years ago, 2020.
The Peak’s Temperature Impact On The Livings
This highest point of hot temperature of all time is causing damage to a lot of people and other living creatures. Millions of people suffered due to the heat waves of the high temperature, loads of plants die, and even animals might have been dead too! There are several countries in the U.S. that reached their hottest temperatures, like Northeast, Texas, the Plains, Puerto Rico, and across the southern.
As for humans, the high temperature is not only causing inconvenience and uncomfortability, but it also affects human’s health. High heat temperature can cause heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and hyperthermia, according to the World Health Organization.
Also, the ocean can absorb the atmosphere’s temperature. And today, the ocean has absorbed more than 90% of the extra heat in the atmosphere caused by humans.

Stop Human-Caused Climate Change
This phenomenon happened most likely because of global warming that can increase the possibility of climate change. This reason is mostly caused by the human itself.
So we can conclude that this event occurs as a not-really-friendly reminder that things causing global warming and climate change such as greenhouse gas emissions, largely from burning fossil fuels, and many more, should be decreased for the sake of living creatures on Earth.
Scientists have predicted that the last 8 years is the hottest temperature ever recorded, and the upcoming 5 years will be even hotter than this last 8 years.
