Maira Muthma released her debut single “Tak Semanis Dulu” under Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia. The singer entrusted the songwriting process to Belawan.
Maira acknowledged that “Tak Semanis Dulu” captivated her the moment she listened to the song. “I instantly felt the song was relatable. Anyone would have experienced a time when a relationship they were in no longer felt as sweet as it used to, causing us to feel mentally exhausted.”
The song process took about four months for Maira, starting from listening to the song demo, recording, mixing, mastering, until finally being released on July 21st. Interestingly, Maira changed the mood of the song from the original mellow and sweet to a more upbeat one, in line with her personality.

Maira’s journey to join Sony Music began when the label team followed her on Instagram. Then, she was invited to chat with the team. She admitted that being able to join the major label felt like a dream coming true.
Being relatively new in the professional music world, Maira had aspirations to collaborate with her favorite musicians someday. She also hoped that music enthusiasts would positively greet her debut.
