ATLANTIC RECORDS Releases Album For Barbie Movie Titled “BARBIE THE ALBUM”

Atlantic Records has officially launched “BARBIE THE ALBUM”, the groundbreaking musical companion to the highly anticipated summer movie Barbie. The new companion album will feature songs from many award winning artists such as Sam Smith, LIZZO, Ava Max, GAYLE and many more. The album was first unveiled in May and since then the soundtrack has become a worldwide pop phenomenon, with over 500 million+ global streams.

There are a total of 17 different singles that you can listen to on this album. The opening artists for the album is Lizzo “Pink” and continued with Dua Lipa “Dance in The Night.” Then the album is continued with many big artists such as Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice’s “Barbie World” and Sam Smith’s “Man I Am.” The last artist that will close this album is FIFTY FIFTY “Barbie Dreams” ft. Kaliii.

This Barbie companion album is the continuation of the highly successful partnership between Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Pictures. Previously, the two companies teamed up for BIRDS OF PREY: THE ALBUM 2020 which spawned “Boss B*tch” by Doja Cat, along with SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM 2016 that topped the album charts in over 70 countries worldwide.

BARBIE THE ALBUM is executive produced by the 7x GRAMMY award-winning artist and producer Mark Ronson and Barbie writer, director and executive producer Greta Gerwig. The soundtrack album was produced and overseen by Atlantic Records West Coast President, Kevin Weaver and Atlantic Records EVP and Co-Head of Pop/Rock A&R, Brandon Davis. Additional key players in the project include Soundtrack Album Co-Producers, Brandon Creed and Joseph Khoury, as well as Barbie Music Supervisor and Album Executive Producer, George Drakoulias.
