Summerland, a Jakarta-based Pop-Punk band, has released their latest track, “Sebelum Selamanya.” This song features Chintya Gabriella, a Medan-based pop soloist recognised for her gentle and distinct vocals.
The band feel that the choice of Chintya Gabriella as the performing artist makes this song much better because Chintya has a gentle voice and they believe Chintya has a unique singing style that can add dimension to this song. “This song can convey a more “sad” message,” Joe explained.
‘Sebelum Selamanya’ was produced by Fachrizal Achmad. The duration of the clip is 3:45 minutes. This song sounds lively and heavy, with pop-punk qualities.
“This song describes the formation of trust in a long-distance relationship.” Summerlane vocalist Ochin said. “It’s about how someone stays faithful to wait and believe in their partner despite never having been in a long distance relationship before.”
This song is Summerlane’s first Indonesian language song. It features passionate and tragic lyrics, yet it retains the force of a pop-punk song, as is typical of this four-member band.

Summerlane believes that this song will be accepted by their fans, known as Summerbones, as well as music listeners in Indonesia and around the world. “Perhaps not only those who relate to the lyrics in this song, but also those who can’t find trust in their partners after listening to this song will be able to trust them,” they concluded.
