A Fresh Start: Yellowcard Announces Comeback Album “Better Days”

Bingkai KaryaYellowcard, the band from Jacksonville, Florida, is entering a new and more emotional chapter after getting back together in 2022. The group, which had split up in 2017, has announced their first full album in almost ten years. The album, called “Better Days” will be released on October 10, 2025, through Better Noise Music.

Along with this news, Yellowcard also released two songs: the main single “Better Days” and another track called “honestly i.”

The album is produced by Travis Barker from Blink-182, who also worked as the Executive Producer. Travis even played drums on all of the tracks. “I started recording as one version of myself and came out a different person,” said vocalist William Ryan Key. “I knew I needed help, and Travis really opened the door to my creativity. It felt like writing songs at 19 again!”

The single “Better Days” is a reflection on gratitude, forgiveness, perspective, and finding purpose. In the music video, band members William Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, and Josh Portman dress as famous 80s movie characters in a vintage video store. Directed by Jordan Phoenix, the video shows the fun and joy the band felt during the creative process. “We want this new chapter to be about happiness,” said Ryan Key. “This is the most fun video we’ve made in 20 years, and we hope it makes everyone who watches it smile.”

With over 4 million albums sold and 1 billion streams around the world, Yellowcard’s new album and single ‘Better Days” show their journey of healing and renewed energy. The band is also set to perform at several global festivals, including the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas this October.
