Bingkai Karya – Sometimes, love doesn’t have to end in togetherness and that’s exactly what Angie Carvalho captures in her latest single, “Merelakan”, released under Universal Music Indonesia.

Co written with Krisna Triastantya, “Merelakan” marks Angie’s second single, continuing the story she began in her debut track, “Sebatas Mimpi.”
“‘Merelakan’ connects closely with my previous single. Both tell stories of unreturned love, about accepting that love doesn’t always mean being together, and sometimes it only lives in our dreams,” Angie shares.
With its soft, melodic pop ballad arrangement, the song blends feelings of longing, release, and quiet peace, wrapped beautifully in Angie’s warm yet powerful vocals. The result is a touching and relatable anthem for anyone who has ever loved deeply but had to let go.
Adding depth to the release, the music video is presented like a mini movie, portraying complex emotions through cinematic storytelling. The lyric video, on the other hand, shows Angie drawing and singing in a calm setting, dressed elegantly perfectly reflecting the song’s emotional tone.
“It was such a fun process! Both the music video and lyric video turned out beautifully, the visuals really bring the song’s story to life,” says Angie.
Through “Merelakan,” Angie hopes to reach more listeners and remind them that letting go can be an act of love too.
