BINA NUSANTARA appointed Dr. Nelly, S. Kom., M.M., CSCA as the Rector of BINUS UNIVERSITY and Win Ce, S. Kom., M.M. as the Rector of SATU University for 2023-2028 periode. The inauguration was held at the auditorium of BINUS University and live streamed on BINUS TV Live Streaming.
The event brought the theme of “Bersyukur dalam Keragaman, Merawat Komitmen, Meraih Tujuan Bersama Meraih Visi BINUS 2035, Fostering and Empowering the Society in Building and Serving the Nation” (Being Grateful in Diversity, Caring for Commitments, Achieving Common Goals Reaching the Vision of BINUS 2035, Fostering and Empowering the Society in Building and Serving the Nation) and aimed to commit empowering the society by continuing the leadership of BINUS UNIVERSITY and appointed leader of SATU University. The new rectors officially received SK Kelembagaan from Kemdikbudristek through LLDIKTI Region IV on May 11, 2023.
“I would like to thank Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, M.M. as the rector, the Board of Directors of BINUS UNIVERSITY, and all the directors of BINUS Higher Education 2018-2023 for leading BINUS UNIVERSITY to be World Class Indonesian University,” said Ir. Bernard Gunawan, the Chairperson of BINA NUSANTARA foundation.

Dr. Nelly plans to accomplish the vision of BINUS UNIVERSITY 2035 which is to strengthen the character education for BINUSIAN. The practice of BINUSIAN Values and the spirit of fostering and empowering will be the main things of the learning experience of students at BINUS UNIVERSITY.
Not only that, the combination of character education with the learning system at BINUS UNIVERSITY will create the BINUS Graduates Attribute which is the character possessed by BINUS graduates.
Align with Dr. Nelly, Win Ce, the Rector of SATU University will carry the campus located in Bandung and Pontianak to achieve the vision of BINUS 2035 in order to empower and be worthwhile for the society. The presence of SATU UNIVERSITY will contribute to meeting the need for quality human resources to support Indonesia’s economic growth, especially in advancing small/medium industries and MSMEs.
