Bingkai Karya – Indonesian pop band Coldiac brings a fresh and heartfelt revival of the iconic song “Dia”, originally written by Randy Anwar and previously popularized by legends like Vina Panduwinata, Sheila Majid, and Reza Artamevia. This reimagined version, infused with a vibrant city pop-jazz feel, serves as the opening track of Coldiac’s upcoming mini-album ‘Loving You Like This’.
“‘Dia’ is the first track on our EP, and just like when you’re getting to know someone new, we’re trying to build that connection with our listeners too so they can feel the same butterflies and joy we felt when making this track,” said Sambadha, Coldiac’s vocalist, in a press statement on Friday, August 7, 2025.
Hailing from Malang, Coldiac offers a playful yet masculine take on the classic. The shared vocal duties between Sambadha and Tama add a unique dynamic, while the arrangement leans deeper into city pop-jazz elements with layered backing vocals that elevate the romantic vibe into something effortlessly joyful and danceable.
A Roblox Release Party with Campfire Vibes In a move that blends music with digital culture, Coldiac hosted an unofficial release party on Roblox, an online platform beloved by younger generations. Held around 11 PM, just an hour before the song’s official release on streaming platforms, the band invited around 50 fans to join them in an intimate virtual hangout.
Rather than putting on a flashy stage performance, Coldiac chose a cozy campfire setting where fans could chill and be the first to hear the new track, joined by two members of the band, Sambadha and Dery.
The Making of ‘Dia’ and DIY Visualizer Magic The band, Sambadha Wahyadyatmika (vocals/guitar), Mahatamtama Arya Adinegara (vocals/guitar), Derry Rith Haudin (keys & synths/backing vocals), and Bhima Bagaskara (bass) shared that selecting “Dia” was a thoughtful process, as they were carefully curating tracks for ‘Loving You Like This’.
Alongside the audio, the song comes with a 360-degree visualizer, fully created in DIY fashion with their team in Malang.
“It took us a while to decide on ‘Dia’ and the other songs for this EP. We wanted every track to contribute to a meaningful narrative. The visualizer was also a fun experience we finished visualizers for three tracks in just one day using only a single 360 camera. It’s minimalist, simple, but heartfelt,” the band members explained.
“Dia” is now available on all digital streaming platforms, and the official visualizer can be watched on Coldiac’s YouTube channel. Their full EP ‘Loving You Like This’ is set to be released soon.

Formed in Malang, East Java in October 2015, Coldiac is a pop band consisting of Sambadha Wahyadyatmika (vocals/guitar), Mahatamtama Arya Adinegara (vocals/guitar), Derry Rith Haudin (keys & synths/backing vocals), and Bhima Bagaskara (bass). Their music is often described as groovy, casual pop with strong emotional appeal.
