Fabio Asher collaborated with Prinsa Mandagie in the remake of legendary song “Emosi Jiwa”. The spectacular collaboration also teamed up with the renowned composer Andi Rianto. The remake serves as the original soundtrack of the film “Catatan Si Boy”.
“Emosi Jiwa”, originally by Harry Sabar, gained popularity in the 80s. Now, in collaboration with MD Musik Indonesia, MJ Entertainment, and Fafa Records, Andi Rianto presents a fresh take on the song. The song showcases the love story between Boy (Angga Yunanda) and Nuke (Syifa Hadju), featuring luxurious instrumental arrangements and harmonious vocals of the singers.
Fabio Asher and Prinsa Mandagie were also delighted to work together for this project, as it presented its own challenges in performing it. “We’re really happy, especially when we found out that Andi Rianto would arrange it, we became even more excited. It’s indeed quite challenging because this song is already legendary from that era, and we have to present it again with a more contemporary touch,” stated them.

Furthermore, the official music video for ‘Emosi Jiwa’ features a romantic and glamorous theme. The actors appear elegantly and deeply immerse themselves in their roles. The video includes snippets from the film “Catatan Si Boy” to strengthen the connection between the two. The director Prialangga hopes the video will be enjoyed by various audiences, particularly music enthusiasts in Indonesia, and represent the roles in the film.
