Bingkai Karya – “Bandaids” the new single from global pop superstar Katy Perry, dropped worldwide on November 6, 2025 at 4 pm PT with a stunning new music video featuring Perry as you’ve never seen before.
Relatable to anyone who has lived, loved, experienced change and come out stronger on the other side, “bandaids” embraces the beauty and bruise of life as Perry makes a return to unfiltered lyricism that has defined her career. The music video highlights Katy’s self-deprecation and humor with a series of “near death” vignettes that nod to the rollercoaster of the last year.
Produced by Justin Tranter (Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa), Sean Cook (Shaboozey, Paul Russell), Russ Chell (Kid Cudi, Tate McRae), and Eren Cannata (Teddy Swims, Demi Lovato), and co-written by Katy alongside Tranter, Cook, Chell, Cannata, and Amanda “Kiddo” Ibanez, “bandaids” fuses guitar-driven production with Katy’s signature soaring vocals and an unforgettable gut-punching hook. The music video, directed by Christian Breslauer (Ariana Grande, SZA, Lizzo), premiered simultaneously with the track’s release.
ABOUT KATY PERRY
Since Katy Perry’s Capitol Records debut in 2008 with One of the Boys, she has racked up a cumulative 125 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 70 million albums. The biggest-selling female artist in Capitol history, Katy is one of only twelve artists in history to have surpassed 100 million certified units with their solo single releases and the first-ever Capitol Records recording artist to achieve the elite status of having 10 million RIAA-certified units for a single in 2015. She was also the first artist in RIAA history to earn three RIAA Diamond singles – for “Firework,” “Dark Horse” and “Roar.” Since then, she’s added a few more to her collection with “California Gurls” (feat. Snoop Dogg), “E.T”, and both “Teenage Dream” the SINGLE AND ALBUM going DIAMOND. Katy now has six singles and one album for a total of SEVEN Diamond-certified titles.
Currently in Europe on her Lifetimes tour, the 92 shows spanning five continents have already seen Katy sell over 1 million tickets. Due to fan demand, she added additional dates in Australia, Europe and China (the first four dates on mainland China sold out in under a minute). The tour concludes on December 7th in Abu Dhabi, capping a phenomenally successful, global run.
