
Kim Go-Eun is confirmed to star in the new movie “Love in the Big City”. The production team confirmed the news after releasing photos of the first script reading session showing Go Eun and other actors. Go Eun plays the lead character named Jae Hee in the romantic movie. The Yumi’s Cell star also released an official statement regarding her involvement in “Love in the Big City”.
“Love in the Big City” is adapted from the best-selling novel by Park Sang-Young. The novel was so popular that it was nominated for the International Dublin Literary Prize. Lee Eon Hee was appointed director of the project. She previously directed “The Accidental Detective 2: In Action (2018)”, “Missing (2016)”, and “Love Exposure (2007)”. He is also rumored to be involved in working on the drama “The Killer’s Shopping List” (2022) starring Lee Kwang-soo, Seol-Hyun, and Kim Jin Hee-Kyung.
It is reported that “Love in the Big City” also started filming on July 8, 2023. However, the release schedule and other actors who will be joining the project are not yet known.

Kim Go-Eun is a popular actress in South Korea who has starred in several dramas. She made her debut by starring in the movie “A Muse” (2012) and the independent film “Comfort” (2012)”. Go-eun’s name rose to fame thanks to her role in the movie “Memories of the Sword” (2015), followed by appearances in popular TV series such as “Cheese in the Trap” (2016), “Guardians: The Lonely and Great God” (2016), and the movie “Tune in for Love” (2019). Kim Go Eun’s popularity soared after appearing in “The King: Eternal Monarch” (2020), “Yumi’s Cell” (2021), and “Little Women” (2022).
