Pokemon From Paldea Region to be Added in the Pokemon Go Game in September

The Pokémon Presents livestream revealed that the Pokémon GO smartphone game will add Pokémon from the Paldean region of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games in September. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, the games’ beginning Pokémon, are teased in the teaser.

In February 2022, the game introduced Pokémon from the Alola area, including starters, from the Pokémon Sun and Moon games. The app now includes Pokémon from Galar from the Pokémon Sword and Shield games, which will be released in August 2021, following Pokémon Sun and Moon. However, the starters from that region have yet to be included.

In July 2016, Niantic and The Pokémon Company International released the Pokémon GO app in select countries, including the United States.
