Fans who have missed ex-NCT members Shotaro and Sungchan since their departure from the group in May may now cry no more. On July 30, SM Entertainment debuted Riize, their newest boy group consisting of seven members, including Shotaro and Sungchan.
Riize, a combination of the terms “rise” and “realize,” is set to make its debut in September and will “go for an emotional pop genre.” Riize “contains the meaning of a team that grows together and realizes dreams,” according to a news statement from SM.
Riize members have exceptional musical qualities, including vocals, performance, instrumental performance, and composition, as well as warm visuals, according to the statement. They are already garnering a lot of attention because of their unique abilities and attractions.
Riize’s seven members are as follows:
1. SHOTARO
This Japanese vocalist, born on November 25, 2000, was a member of NCT from 2020 to 2023 and sang in songs such as Make A Wish and Universe (Let’s Play Ball).
2. SUNGCHAN
Sungchan, born on September 13, 2001, was a former member of NCT and sung in songs such as Resonance and Beautiful.
3. EUNSEOK
Eunseok, born on March 19, 2001, was a member of SM Rookies (SM’s pre-debut training team).
4. WONBIN
Wonbin, born on March 2, 2002, has received a lot of attention online for his pictures.
5. SEUNGHAN
Seunghan, born on October 2, 2003, is a Shin-chan admirer.
