T-Five attempted to create a new project to gain exposure and decided to remake all the albums that made their name and were previously released in the 2000s (Album T-Five 2001, Album Bebas 2003, Album Back to Back 2005, and Album Legacy 2009), thus naming this project the Remake Project.
T-Five will release each single from the mentioned albums one by one, planning to release them once a month until all the singles from all the albums are out, released every month. The Remake of “Kau” is taken from their debut album titled “T-Five”. Coinciding with T-Five’s 24th Anniversary on July 21, 2023, they released a remake of their old single “Kau” on all digital platforms, along with the “Official Video Lyric” release. This will also trigger T-Five’s future plans to continue releasing some other songs from their debut album, released in 2001.
“Kau” was first released in 2001 and became one of T-Five’s hit songs at that time. Due to high demand to release “Kau,” the song is now brought back by T-Five with a simpler style, released on July 21, 2023.
In this remake project, T-Five aims to pamper their listeners with a more contemporary and easily acceptable musical touch that aligns with the music preferences of the current era. Perhaps this will provide a distinct experience for listeners who were familiar with the song back in its original era. However, it is hoped that this approach does not diminish the essence of the original song.

T-Five originated from a school band. The name is actually an abbreviation of “Twenty-Five.” The name came about because its members were five students from SMA 20 Bandung. Over time, some members left, and new ones joined from other high schools. From the original lineup, only Yerry and Gordon remained. Like many bands, T-Five started from performing at cafes. Moreover, their initial musical style was acapella, a characteristic that has remained with the group, featuring four vocalists up to the present.
