Yura Yunita Accompany Our Homecoming with “Jalan Pulang”

Yura Yunita released another ode to accompany our journey back home in her latest single “Jalan Pulang”. Since Yura Yunita’s works usually include her prayers and warm sentiments, “Jalan Pulang” is her way of letting the listeners know where our journey as humans ends.

“I hope this song can accompany anyone in their homecoming journey, to everyone with heavy weights on their shoulder while pursuing their dreams, chasing their expectations. In the end we will head back home in their own path and ways,”said Yura Yunita.

Together with Donne Maula, Yura Yunita composed “Jalan Pulang” based on the thoughts and their sentiments about what it means to return. Likening it to a big step as a collective amount of the small steps humans took on this earth.

The creative process feels intimate for Yura, “this song is about my journey home to God. It only took a short time to compose the song while reminiscing about my Umrah. Accompanied by my husband and parents, it warm my heart during the creative process”

As a part of the original soundtrack for Angga Dwimas Sasongko latest film “Jalan Yang Jauh Jangan Lupa Pulang”, a film based on a novel by Marchella FP and will be released on February 2, 2023. The writer also has their part in the songwriting.

Tersi Eva Ranti as the producer of the film explains the reason why she chose Yura Yunita. “She’s a great singer, and has a deep songwriting. She’s also act as the voice of woman, concordant with the film plot and the interpretation on self-reflection”

The song is already released on January 19 2023, preceding the film, and can be enjoyed in every digital streaming platform. Beside the song, the lyric video is also available in Yura Yunita Youtube Channel. The official music video will be released in March 2023.
