A Feeling Good Anthem With 80s Vibes, Adikara Featuring Andien Releases “Rindu”

Bingkai Karya– Adikara releases “Rindu” after getting millions of listeners with “Primadona” and embracing social media popularity. This record marks Adikara’s debut as an independent musician with Pagoda Records and his collaboration with Andien.

Adikara calls “Rindu” his free music experiment. Adikara broke musical bounds as a singer-songwriter thanks to this independence. “I tried to explore my musical taste again in ‘Rindu’ as deep and wide as it is. Sound, lyric writing, and genre. My work has grown since I became an independent musician; it feels like there are no bounds,” said Adikara.

Musically, “Rindu” is lively and dynamic 80s. Harmonic basslines, disco rhythm patterns and tempo, lovely lyrics, and Adikara-Andien’s duet voices combine. Adikara got the nuances naturally.

“We didn’t go for an 80s feel or nuance when I wrote this song with Andien. I happened to be listening to Quincy Jones for a year while writing this song. So maybe that era influenced the instrument choice or arrangement style unconsciously.” Using a unique creative technique, Adikara created “Rindu”.

Making music that’s entertaining is difficult. They convey a sense of desire that is hard to express. “This song was written differently from my previous songs. We frequently wrote songs with era-specific unique features, musical styles, and sounds. We want this music to make people happy or feel nice. So that’s the standard.”

Adikara chose Andien as a colleague for good reason. The song lives thanks to Andien’s incredible voice. Andien collaborations are also significant to her career. “I often say Andien is my dream collaboration. Her voice is unique, stylish, and classic. Success subsequently arrived. Alhamdulillah,” stated Adikara.

This collaboration is special for Andien. The singer who won nine AMI Awards said she has never worked with Andien. Awards trophy, she says she has never written a song like “Rindu.” “‘Rindu’ is unique since I’ve never had a song like this. This tune makes you feel nice. I mean it when I say feel-good song. As if everyone hears it comfortably.” Andien exclaimed, “The song makes you float.”

Andien expects Adikara’s rise in Indonesian music. The new generation of Indonesian musicians is refreshed by Adikara’s unique vocal style and works. “I think Adikara is fresh in today’s music. Other vocalists of Adikara’s age lack what he has. This includes his voice, music, delivery, and charisma.

Andien complimented Adikara as a young singer-songwriter. In 2019, Adikara released her debut single, “Pesona Cinta”. The Love & Imagination micro album followed a year later.

Adikara’s fourth independent single is “Rindu,” following “Nirvana,” “Katakan Saja,” and “Primadona.” Klise, a debut full album, will follow this run of singles.
