Bingkai Karya–Chintya Gabriella continues her solo career with her own original songs after the viral popularity of her debut single, “Nikmati Perjalanannya”. Chintya’s partnership with WeCord, a label that supports budding musicians, has strengthened her determination. Soon, she will release her second self-penned single, “Ambisius”.
“This song is based on my personal experiences and objectives, including becoming a vocalist and content producer. My desires often led me to neglect life, pushing my body to pursue goals. I realized I sometimes neglect self-care and treat myself like I would others. While ambition is important, we should not overcommit or neglect our bodies’ needs for relaxation.”
Chintya, from Medan, North Sumatra, found producing “Ambisius” both thrilling and enriching. With Petra Sihombing as her producer, she acquired great songwriting insights.” “Ambisius” was a song written with sincerity and honesty, culminating in a song I adore and relate to. I believe this track connects with those who are chasing ambitions without prioritizing self-care.”
Story About The Single
Her new track, “Ambisius,” has an interesting background. In a Bali songwriting workshop, Chintya composed two songs. After feeling the first song was too similar to her past releases, she chose “Ambisius” for its fresh atmosphere. “This tune adds a refreshing feel to my music in 2024. I love Kak Petra’s music production. The entire process took about two months: one day for writing, two to three weeks for recording, and two weeks for the music video.”
Upon penning “Ambisius”, the 25-year-old vocalist fell in love with the song and eagerly awaited its release. This track presented a unique challenge as it has an enthusiastic and joyous atmosphere, requiring a specific delivery style to capture listeners’ energy. “I anticipate that “Ambisius” will be well-received by both fans and new listeners upon release. This song aims to remind ambitious individuals that while working hard is important, it’s also important to take breaks and rejuvenate.”
Chintya Gabriella Panggabean never envisioned her music career at this stage. “I covered songs for fun when I had time, but it lead me here. I fully committed, and joining WeCord was a great chance. I appreciate the support of my family, friends, and label team.” Chintya plans to grow as an artist with their assistance, both locally and abroad.
