Bingkai Karya– Rayen Pono presents a 2024 year-end gift. Semesta Records will release Rayen and Irfan Chasamala’s charming and comforting ballad “Being with You” on digital channels.
Rayen states “Being with You” depicts love that brings joy, comfort, courage, and commitment to lovers, parents, siblings, friends, and social relationships. “This song says true love fixes many positive things.”
Rayen wrote “Being with You” after getting love from loved ones during hardship. Rayen added, “Personally, there are still a lot of big goals and achievements in music that I’m still chasing and that make me sometimes less confident and ambitious.
This may be surprising given Rayen’s extensive Indonesian music experience as a solo artist and in her former ensemble. “We may not understand her struggles. But my fans can always see my human side that can color their lives. Beyond achievements. I feel balanced and complete despite left and right flaws.”‘Being with You’ characterizes my day.”
About Being With You
Being with You took “about one day” to write. This despite severe poetic editing. Rayen hired ’80s-’90s producer/arranger Irfan Chasmala. Rayen says, “Irfan Chasmala is one of the musicians and producers who has a strong taste and really understands ’80s-’90s music and composition.” I wanted deep nostalgia in this song, and it does.” The top Indonesian performers Ade Avery on guitar, Yance Manusama on bass, and Echa Soemantri on drums recorded “Being with You” in Nusa Hitam Soul Studio in Jakarta with Irfan Chasmala.
Rayen Pono’s 2023 works, Forty and “Ikhlas,” were in Indonesian; “Being with You” is in English. He published “Be Myself Again” in English in 2017. For its romantic, deep, and forceful delivery, Rayen wrote the song in English with simple lyrics.
In difficult circumstances, Rayen hopes her heart-and-soul vocals in “Being with You” can console listeners. “I hope this song gives everyone who has love in them a strong feeling and knows there are always people who love them and are willing to sacrifice for them,” said. If you broke up due to treachery or something terrible, you need someone who supports, consoles, doesn’t let misery alone, and is constantly there. “Everyone has love and everyone needs love,” says Rayen Pono. A ‘Being with You’ attitude.”
