Bingkai Karya – Beautiful singer Brisia Jodie has just released her latest single titled “Kisah Baru Orang Lama” following her previous release, “Tak Ada Restu”. The process of creating this new track took quite some time, as the song showcases a different character compared to her previous work. As always, Brisia Jodie delivers music that resonates with many people’s real-life experiences, this time wrapped into one relatable song titled “Kisah Baru Orang Lama”.
“The process was really exciting because this song brings a new color to my musical journey,” said the singer, whose full name is Maria Brisia Jodie Maurine, but who is affectionately known as Jodie. “It’s rare for me to release an upbeat song like this. I’m happy because I feel more creatively free now that I’m independent. With help from my team, friends, and family, thank God everything went smoothly, even though the journey had its ups and downs.”
She added, “The reason behind the title ‘Kisah Baru Orang Lama’ is that it felt so relevant when I realized that I’m not the only one who has experienced it, knowing someone for a long time but only now finding the right timing. It feels familiar but brand new at the same time. Like, ‘Oh, it turns out you’ve always been my home.’”
The song, co-written with Clara Riva and her team, was based on real-life stories shared during their songwriting workshop. According to Jodie, this track represents her story perfectly. For her, a good song is one that captures many people’s stories.
The realization of this single was made possible thanks to contributions from various people including the Maure Indonesia team, her close friends, and her ever-supportive parents.
