Bingkai Karya – Rising stars Aziz Hedra and Sisca Saras have come together in a heartfelt duet single, “Orang Biasa”, a ’90s-inspired R&B track that reminds us of a simple truth: you don’t need to be extraordinary to fall in love. Written by the powerhouse songwriting team Laleilmanino, the song delivers a message that love is for everyone, no pretenses, no perfection required.
The collaboration was born under the Sony Music Indonesia umbrella, Aziz as one of its breakout artists, and Sisca under its subsidiary, Wecord Evermore. The idea first came from Iman Abdillah, Head of A&R at Wecord Evermore, who saw the potential in pairing their unique voices.
For Sisca, this duet was a dream opportunity. “My label suggested a duet for my new single, and it turned out to be with Aziz. I’ve always admired his voice, so I was thrilled to finally work together,” she shared.
Bringing a blend of R&B-pop nostalgia from the ’90s and early 2000s, this marks the first time both artists have worked with Laleilmanino. “I’m truly grateful. This is my first duet, but the chemistry came so naturally during recording, it felt effortless,” Sisca added.
Aziz echoed the sentiment, calling the experience a career milestone. “Working with Laleilmanino has always been on my wishlist. And to have my first duet with Sisca, who has such a distinctive voice, made it even more special. Honestly, I got chills during recording, it’s rare to find vocal chemistry like this.”
Beyond the collaboration, Sisca said the project taught her valuable lessons: commitment, focus, and creativity in songwriting. Meanwhile, Aziz shared how much he enjoyed discovering the dynamic of duet performance for the very first time.
With “Orang Biasa”, both artists hope to bring comfort to listeners, especially those experiencing lonely nights. “The message is simple: love doesn’t require perfection. Even ordinary people can love deeply,” Sisca concluded.
