Born in Graz, Austria, Jaqlyn brings a richly diverse heritage Austrian on her father’s side and Georgian on her mother’s. From an early age, music was central to her life. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, she would sing along to ballads by vocal icons such as Céline Dion and Lara Fabian, nurturing a voice that would later captivate millions.
Her passion for performance led her from acting and sports into a dedicated pursuit of music. In September 2024, she achieved a major breakthrough on The Voice of Germany, where her rendition of George Benson’s Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You earned unanimous acclaim from all four celebrity judges. The audition performance has since attracted over 4 million views on YouTube, cementing her emergence as a remarkable new voice.
In January 2023, Jaqlyn embraced Islam, a decision she describes as transformative both personally and artistically. Her faith now plays a central role in her creative vision. “Wearing the hijab didn’t stop me from being bold or creative. If anything, it empowers me to be a leader and a positive influence,” she reflects.
Now, at the age of 23, Jaqlyn begins her professional journey after signing with Awakening Music. Her debut single “This Is Who I Am” was co written by Awakening’s multi platinum recording artist Maher Zain alongside an internationally renowned creative team.
