When a Fan’s Song Is Sung by Their Idol: The Story Behind Lyodra’s New Single “Teganya Kau”

Bingkai Karya – Blessings can come from anywhere, right? Sometimes, the most unexpected things bring the biggest opportunities. That’s exactly what happened to one of Lyodra’s fans through her latest single, “Teganya Kau.”

The story began when “Teganya Kau” was written by Lyodra’s fan, Tri Adinata, a vocal coach and content creator from Medan. Tri first uploaded the song on social media in 2023, and after hearing it, Lyodra immediately fell in love with the tune and decided to collaborate with him to produce the official version.

“When I saw his content online, I felt the song really matched my vocal character, so I became interested in working on it. One of my team members reached out to him for a collaboration, we did a workshop, and I’m super satisfied with the result,” Lyodra shared.

This release once again proves that Lyodra is an artist who brings luck to her fans. Remember El Putra, the fan who became known after Lyodra invited him to perform on stage in Makassar and is now starring as a leading man in a movie? Now, something similar happens with Tri Adinata, her song is sung by the idol he admires.

Musically, “Teganya Kau” is a melancholic heartbreak ballad that tells the story of someone betrayed by their lover a familiar tale of disappointment and emotional turmoil. “This song is really deep. It captures sadness, anger, and heartbreak all at once,” said Lyodra.

The single’s production features a lush orchestral-style string arrangement that adds grandeur, perfectly complementing Lyodra’s powerful vocals a true standout element in the song.

What makes it even more interesting is the music video, which continues the storyline from Lyodra’s previous single “Bodohnya Aku.” Directed by Prialangga and starring Lyodra, Lorenzo Gibbs, and Aya Strophiile, the video ties the emotional narrative between the two songs, creating a short yet touching cinematic experience.

“I hope this song reaches many listeners and that its message connects deeply with everyone who hears it. And of course, don’t stop creating!” said Lyodra.
