Bingkai Karya – Globally acclaimed electro-funk trio Jungle return with “Carry On”, the first single from their highly anticipated fifth studio album ‘Sunshine’, set for release on August 14. The track premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record, marking a powerful introduction to the band’s next chapter.
Comprised of J Lloyd, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto, Jungle continue to push their signature blend of soulful vocals, groove-driven production, and cinematic songwriting. “Carry On” is a striking showcase of Lydia Kitto’s vocal prowess effortlessly vulnerable and deeply resonant.
The forthcoming album ‘Sunshine’ follows the global success of 2023’s ‘Volcano’, which cemented Jungle’s status as a worldwide force. The album has amassed over 1 billion streams globally, earning the band their first BRIT Award and spawning the viral hit “Back On 74”, which alone has surpassed 530 million streams and achieved widespread traction across TikTok and global charts.
The album will be available in multiple physical formats, including black 180g single gatefold LP, Desert Peach single gatefold LP, translucent brown marble single gatefold LP and digipak CD.
Further amplifying this momentum, Jungle have announced an expansive global headline tour spanning three continents. Kicking off in North America this September, the tour includes major arena dates in Los Angeles and New York, as well as a landmark performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The band will then return to the UK and Europe in November, including a 20,000-capacity homecoming show at London’s O2, before heading to Australia in March 2027.
About Jungle
Jungle were formed in London in 2013 by Tom McFarland and J Lloyd, before their regular collaborator Lydia Kitto became an official member of the group in 2024. Matching a euphoric concoction of modern disco, soul and hip-hop with exemplary visual content defined by world-class choreography, they shot to attention with their self-titled UK Top 10 debut album in 2014. Their rise continued with another Top 10 with 2018’s ‘For Ever’ and then ‘Loving In Stereo’ which hit #3 in 2021.
2023 saw Jungle become a global force with ‘Volcano’. Reaching #3 in the UK, the album featured their biggest hit to date in the shape of “Back On 74” which has been certified Platinum in both the UK and US. The campaign saw Jungle rise to sell-out arenas all over the world, playing to hundreds of thousand of fans across 2023/24 with highlights including The O2 in London, Coachella and headlining All Points East. To date, Jungle have amassed an incredible 3.4 billion streams and boasts over 9.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
