Bingkai Karya – Ready to once again entertain their fans, Yovie & Nuno present their latest work, this time in the form of an EP titled ‘Kilometer’, with Yovie Widianto serving as producer alongside Ari Renaldi. The EP consists of six tracks, three of which are rearranged versions of Yovie & Nuno’s hit songs with a fresh approach, while the other three are new tracks, including one titled “Kilometer”. According to Yovie, all six songs were carefully selected. “We wanted to bring a fresh color from the new lineup without losing the musical essence of Yovie & Nuno. The combination of the band’s classic character and new energy becomes the common thread that enriches the overall story of this EP”.
The busy performance schedule of the band consisting of Adhyra Yudhi (vocalist), Chico Andreas (vocalist), Ady Julian (keyboardist), and Muchamad Ahadiyat, also known as Diat (guitarist) is the main reason behind the long gap between their last album and Kilometer. However, Yovie promises that this EP will satisfy music lovers who have been waiting for new material from Yovie & Nuno.”Yovie & Nuno have consistently produced hit songs since their formation, even through seven lineup changes. In this latest lineup, there are songs like “Misal”, “Yang Baru”, and a remake of the hit “Bunga Jiwaku”. All three bring a new color and have become something exciting for Yovie & Nuno, who are now 25 years old. We intentionally chose to release this project as an EP so that each single can be enjoyed optimally by TYN (Teman Yovie & Nuno)’.
One of the highlights of this EP is the single “Kilometer”. The single “Kilometer” was written together with Arsy Widianto. With Arsy’s precise lyrical portrayal, the song carries a contemporary feel suited to today’s generation, while its melodic improvisations still retain the signature style of Yovie & Nuno, with tones influenced by 80s music,” Yovie explained.
Despite their long journey, Yovie & Nuno continue to maintain their strong musical identity, as reflected in iconic songs such as “Manusia Biasa”, “Menjaga Hati”, and “Tanpa Cinta”. In ‘Kilometer’ they allow their musical evolution to unfold naturally without losing their core identity. Through this EP, Yovie & Nuno hope that Teman Yovie & Nuno will be entertained and take the time to learn the songs to sing along at the 25th Anniversary Concert “Janji Suci Yovie & Nuno”, which will be held at Istore Senayan on June 13, 2026. The latest EP, ‘Kilometer’ is now available on digital music platforms.
