Bingkai Karya – Iqbaal Ramadhan, performing under his music moniker BAALE, officially releases “Kita Melawan Dunia”, an original soundtrack for the upcoming film Operasi Pesta Copet, produced by Imajinari. Beyond starring in and producing the film, Iqbaal takes on a deeply personal role by crafting a song that encapsulates the film’s emotional core friendship, struggle, and hope amid life’s pressures.
Written specifically for the film, “Kita Melawan Dunia” reflects the story of a group of young people navigating economic hardship and making bold, risky decisions. The song was developed from one of BAALE’s earlier demos, reimagined into a full production that carries both nostalgia and renewed purpose. With guitar-driven arrangements at its heart, the track delivers a light, warm, and relatable listening experience, aligning closely with the everyday spirit of youth and companionship.
In developing the song, Iqbaal collaborated with Andi “AWWE” Wijaya, who contributed to the lyrical direction, while also assembling a strong team of musicians and producers. The production features contributions from Rey Tobing and Jozz Tremonti on guitar arrangements, Enrico Octaviano on drums, with Kevin Queency handling mixing and Dimas Pradipta overseeing mastering. Together, they created a soundscape that remains distinctly pop yet emotionally grounded, staying true to BAALE’s musical identity.
“This song tries to capture the friendship of the group in the film amid life’s struggles and demands. When everything else fails, sometimes friendship is the only thing that can save us,” said Iqbaal Ramadhan.
The release marks Iqbaal’s seventh original soundtrack project, highlighting his continued evolution as both a musician and storyteller. He also shared that the chord progression originated from a 2025 demo, making the song a meaningful continuation of his creative journey.
Looking ahead, “Kita Melawan Dunia” is expected to resonate beyond the film, offering listeners a sense of comfort and solidarity. The track is now available for pre-save and will be officially released alongside the film’s promotional rollout, leading up to the premiere of Operasi Pesta Copet on August 27, 2026, in cinemas across Indonesia.
With this release, BAALE not only strengthens his presence in the music industry but also reinforces the power of storytelling through sound reminding audiences that even in the toughest times, friendship can help us face the world together.
