Bingkai Karya – Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rex Orange County returns with “Indecision,” a soulful new single featuring GRAMMY Award-winning artist Daniel Caesar. The release marks the latest chapter in the pair’s growing creative partnership and arrives amid a series of intimate fan performances and headline festival dates across Southeast Asia.
Built around the distinctly soulful voices of both artists, “Indecision” explores the push and pull of uncertainty, the space between what you feel and what you know. The song captures the experience of second-guessing yourself, allowing its emotional tension to sit at the centre of the collaboration.
The single has been named BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and arrives alongside an official music video shot in Montana by Rhys Scarabosio. Sonically, “Indecision” builds on the chemistry Rex Orange County and Daniel Caesar first established through their 2025 collaborative double single, “Rearrange My World / There’s a Field (That’s Only Yours).” Rex also co-wrote and co-produced several tracks from Daniel Caesar’s 2025 album, ‘Son of Spergy’, making the new release a natural continuation of their evolving musical connection.
Anticipation for the track had already begun to build before its release. The original sound from the previous week’s teaser generated more than 900 creations and 20 million views across Instagram and TikTok, reflecting growing interest in the new material.
In recent weeks, Rex Orange County has also taken a more direct approach to connecting with listeners through a series of surprise living-room performances in fans’ homes, where he performed and previewed unreleased music, including “Indecision.” That spontaneous spirit has now travelled to Southeast Asia, with intimate performances in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila and Jakarta generating significant fan excitement and social conversation.
The regional run led into major live appearances, including a headline show in Manila on August 20, 2026, followed by LaLaLa Festival in Jakarta on August 22, 2026. The performances arrive at a significant moment for Rex, whose audience remains particularly strong across the region, with Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia ranking among his biggest global markets.
With “Indecision”, Rex Orange County opens another chapter in a career defined by music at the intersection of alternative pop, soul, jazz and R&B.
