Bingkai Karya – BRIT Award winners and global arena headliners Jungle have unveiled their new album, ‘Sunshine’, introducing a brighter and more optimistic sonic palette while preserving the groove-driven foundation that has defined the group’s music. The eleven-track album arrives alongside the official video for its title track, marking a new chapter for the London-formed trio.
Across ‘Sunshine’, J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto continue to develop Jungle’s distinctive fusion of soul, disco, hip-hop and electronic music. The record embraces a warmer, more open sound built around lush harmonies, while its lyrics explore connection, hope and acceptance. Together, these elements create an optimistic body of work focused on the possibility of brighter days ahead.
The album also marks an important moment in Jungle’s evolution, as Lydia Kitto appears as an official member alongside founding duo J Lloyd and Tom McFarland. Her voice sits at the heart of the record, taking on many of the lead vocals while the trio’s shared harmonies contribute to the album’s distinctive character.
“For us, ‘Sunshine’ isn’t about weather or seasons. It’s a feeling.” – Jungle
That idea extends into the album’s creative process. Built from homemade vocal samples, manipulated guitars, reworked demos and organic performances, Sunshine reflects a more instinctive and natural approach to songwriting and production. The result is a record designed around feeling, movement and energy rather than a fixed definition of what optimism should sound like.
The release follows the momentum of Jungle’s 2023 album ‘Volcano’, which reached No. 3 in the UK and produced their viral hit “Back On 74”. The track has surpassed 557 million streams and gained significant traction across TikTok and global charts, while previously released Sunshine tracks “Carry On,” “The Wave” and “Someday, Somewhere” have received extensive radio and international airplay.
Jungle marked the album’s arrival with global playback events, including gatherings at participating record stores across Manila, Jakarta, Singapore and Malaysia, giving fans an early opportunity to experience the new record.
With ‘Sunshine’ now available, Jungle will take the new album on an extensive world tour beginning next month, with their biggest headline shows to date spanning North America, Europe, the UK, Australia and Latin America.
