Bingkai Karya – beabadoobee has released “Memories,” the latest single from her highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Pylon’, due September 18, 2026 via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records. Described by Bea as “one of the happiest songs on the album,” the track explores the complicated feeling of holding tightly to memories that once brought happiness but can ultimately leave her feeling sad.
At the heart of “Memories” is the tension between nostalgia and the desire to remain in the past. Bea reflects on moments she wishes she could experience forever, creating a song that balances warmth with a sense of emotional unease. This contrast reflects the broader character of Pylon, an album described as more expansive and complex than anything she has released before.
Across the album, beabadoobee embraces a bold and powerful rock sound, moving through emotions that range from anger and loneliness to joy, pressure and intense love. The record also returns to an intimate songwriting process, with Bea writing alone in hotel rooms in a way that reminded her of creating songs at 17, alone in her bedroom.
“Memories” has already made its live debut during beabadoobee’s recent run of U.S. performances, including appearances at Lollapalooza and Hinterland, as well as a headline performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The song now arrives as part of the build-up toward the release of Pylon and the next major chapter of her career.
Following the album’s release, beabadoobee will embark on The Powerlines Tour, beginning October 1. The arena tour will become her largest tour to date, spanning North America before continuing through the UK and Europe. The itinerary includes major venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum and The O2 Arena.
