Bingkai Karya – Diskoria completes the visual journey of its debut album ‘INTONESIA’ with music videos for all 11 tracks, marking the culmination of an ambitious project that combines music, visual storytelling, and collaborations across Indonesia’s creative scene. The final chapter arrives with “Dua Mimpi”, featuring Tatjana Saphira, completing a visual series that began in September 2024.
For Diskoria, INTONESIA represents more than a debut album. The project reflects the duo’s 10-year journey in music and was developed as a complete artistic work, bringing together music, producers, musicians, artists, sound designers, visual concepts, and album artwork. The project was developed over three years and released across three separate phases.
The album’s visual journey spans approximately two years, beginning with the music video for “Flamboyanku” featuring Danilla in September 2024 and concluding with “Dua Mimpi” featuring Tatjana Saphira. Across the 11 videos, Diskoria worked with a range of directors, including Senry Alvin, Nara Nugroho, Riki Noval Suherman, Baday Rayhan, Kezia Alexandra, Jelita Barbara, and Stella Marlena, allowing each song to develop its own visual identity.
Maintaining a cohesive visual identity across different creative approaches became one of the project’s central challenges. Jelita Barbara, who directed “Tanah Airku,” “Kilauan,” and “Dua Mimpi,” adopted different treatments for each video, ranging from a humanistic semi-documentary approach to performance-driven visuals and dramatic montage.
“How do we stay consistent in believing in our own vision and mission every time we step into new territory with each music video?”
— Jelita Barbara
Beyond its digital release, INTONESIA has also been presented in several physical formats, including white vinyl, black vinyl, cassette, and compact disc, with additional formats planned for the future.
With the completion of its 11-video visual series, Diskoria invites audiences to experience the full visual world of ‘INTONESIA’ through the Suara Disko YouTube channel. The completed project reinforces Diskoria’s approach to pop music as a multidisciplinary experience, giving every song its own visual language while connecting the album as one cohesive artistic journey.
