Bingkai Karya — Rising Indonesian singer Meidra, a TOP 4 finalist of Indonesian Idol Season 14, officially begins her professional music journey with her debut single “Seratus Hidup Lagi,” released on Friday, August 14, 2026, through HITS Records. The song explores the idea of choosing the same person despite imperfections, heartbreak, mistakes, and disappointment, asking what it would mean to love someone across a hundred lifetimes.
Written by Meidra, Happy Andromeda, and Giant Prayash Trinanda, “Seratus Hidup Lagi” tells a story of unwavering love. Rather than portraying love as something flawless, the song embraces the difficult parts of a relationship, the wounds, mistakes, and repeated disappointments, while holding on to the belief that the same person remains worth choosing. Its central sentiment is simple yet deeply personal, even if given another hundred chances at life, she would still want to spend them with the person she loves.
The single also introduces a new side of Meidra’s vocal character. Working alongside Barsena Best, who serves as vocal director, Meidra explores a different vocal color to bring greater emotional weight to the song. Although the story is not based on her own personal experience, her ability to communicate emotion, an ability already visible throughout her Indonesian Idol journey gives the track a strong sense of sincerity and feeling.
Originally from the Riau Islands, Meidra has dreamed of becoming a singer since childhood. Her journey on Indonesian Idol Season 14 became a significant step toward that dream, allowing her to develop her vocal abilities while stepping beyond her comfort zone through performances across different genres. Her journey included performances of Syahrini’s “Sesuatu,” Judika’s “Jikalau Kau Cinta,” which earned four standing ovations from the judges, and Geisha’s “Jika Cinta Dia,” the performance that secured her place in the Top 4.
