Bingkai Karya — Reality Club captures the energy, spontaneity, and rawness of their fourth album through “Who Knows Where Life Will Take You? | Live Session,” released on 11 September 2026 via their YouTube channel. Featuring 10 of the album’s 13 tracks, the live session marks one year since the album’s release while offering listeners a closer experience of how its songs resonate when performed live.
The project reflects the character of Reality Club’s fourth album, which was developed with a stronger live-band approach from the beginning. The album itself was recorded live, making the live session a natural extension of its original concept. Rather than simply recreating the studio recordings, the band uses the format to preserve the album’s live character while presenting it through a carefully prepared visual performance.
“We want to show the whole album. The concept of the fourth album is a little more live band, and the recording was also live,” said guitarist and vocalist Faiz Novascotia Saripudin. He explained that the live session allows the band to maintain that format while presenting it in a more deliberately prepared setting, making the timing appropriate as the album reaches its first anniversary.
While the arrangements remain largely similar to their studio versions, the live session introduces a different experience through the combination of visuals, gestures, space, and the energy shared between band members. For Era Patigo, the live performance also strengthens the message carried by the album, allowing listeners to experience its energy beyond the audio recording.
The session also deliberately preserves moments of spontaneity. During filming, Faiz’s guitar accidentally fell, but instead of replacing the footage with a more polished take, Reality Club chose to keep the moment. The decision reflects their intention to embrace the raw energy and occasional chaos of live performance, including the imperfections that cannot be replicated in exactly the same way.
That approach extends to the interview segments between performances. After filming, the band members answered questions from the director spontaneously without receiving the questions beforehand. The method was designed to capture their relationship with the album and their journey with it in a more organic and unfiltered form.
Recorded in one day at a minimalist space in Gading Serpong, the live session involved the REALITY CHECK team for technical production and three directors: Nugie Rian, Abdul Defashah, and Kariim Risyad. Beyond documenting the album’s journey, the project became an opportunity for Reality Club to discover new experiences and lessons through their own music.
“Every time we do a live session, recording, or anything like that, there will always be something new, experiences and lessons we have never felt before,” said Era Patigo.
