Bingkai Karya — RAMENGVRL officially opens a new chapter of her career with “#COWOBARU,” the first single from her upcoming project and the opening statement of her new #BADDIEPUSAT era. Released on September 11, 2026, the single presents a more confident, outspoken, and liberated side of the Indonesian rapper, singer, songwriter, and hip-hop artist.
At its core, “#COWOBARU” explores the experience of moving on without dwelling on someone who has left. Inspired by a personal moment after RAMENGVRL ended a relationship and was approached by someone new shortly afterward, the song turns the familiar idea of “one leaves, another arrives” into a bold declaration of self-confidence. Rather than mourning a failed relationship, RAMENGVRL embraces the idea that there is always something new ahead.
The single also introduces the broader meaning behind the #BADDIEPUSAT era. For RAMENGVRL, “#COWOBARU” is not only about finding a new man, but also about entering a new era and a new version of herself. This phase reflects her desire to become more authentic, outspoken, confident, and free from what she describes as the pressures of the industry and labels.
Musically, “#COWOBARU” was produced by Alva Gracia, based on an idea developed by RAMENGVRL. The producer, who is part of antinrml, previously worked on “Cool in the Summer” with KENZ and lucidrari, a track that reached Spotify’s Top 50 Viral Malaysia. The song’s concept emerged naturally from RAMENGVRL’s personal experience while working with Alva on the beat.
The accompanying music video was produced by GOING NOODLES, RAMENGVRL’s 360 Creative House, and directed and edited by SURVIBES a.k.a. lil dadong. Featuring more than 50 Baddies from the #PAGUYUBANBADDIE community, the video was filmed across contrasting locations, including an active construction site and an abandoned building. The raw settings and community presence reinforce the visual identity of the #BADDIEPUSAT era.
“#COWOBARU” marks the beginning of a larger project, with the album ‘#BADDIEPUSAT’ scheduled for release in October 2026. The second single, “#DUAPINTU,” is set to follow on September 25, 2026, continuing the creative direction introduced by the opening single.
Through #BADDIEPUSAT, RAMENGVRL is also building #PAGUYUBANBADDIE, a community that has grown to more than 150 members and centers on confidence, support, authenticity, and freedom of self-expression. With further music and community activations planned throughout the era, “#COWOBARU” serves as the first step into this new chapter.
