Bingkai Karya – After eight years of anticipation, Gloria Jessica and Ade Govinda officially release ‘Blue.’, their long-awaited debut album, on Friday, 2 October 2026. The album features 11 songs about heartbreak, each exploring a different emotional perspective, from betrayal and uncertainty to loss, longing, and learning to let go. All tracks are now available across digital music platforms, while the music video for the album’s title track, “Timpang,” is also released on the same day.
The collaboration began in 2018, when Ade Govinda approached Gloria Jessica with the intention of having her sing his work. What initially started as a plan for a single master gradually developed into a full album. Ade saw Gloria’s voice as a strong match for his melodies and lyrics, ultimately leading the pair to build an entire body of work together.
The title ‘Blue.’ takes inspiration from the expression feeling blue, reflecting sadness and melancholy. Across its 11 tracks, the album presents heartbreak through different experiences, including betrayal, waiting, loss, suffocating relationships, and the process of learning to let go. The tracklist includes “Terbelah Jadi Dua,” “Timpang,” “Dominasi,” “Baik-Baik,” “Jika Bertemu Lebih Cepat,” “Kepastian,” “Jika Kau Bukan Cinta,” “Tanpa Batas Waktu,” “Lebih Hati-Hati,” “Dominasi (Acoustic Version),” and “Blue (feat. Mads Wegner).”
Among the album’s highlights is “Timpang,” which serves as its title track. The song captures the feeling of losing balance after heartbreak and reflects on the absence of someone once present in life. Its music video stars Dinda Kirana and Theo Supple as a married couple whose relationship is shaken by loss and regret. Directed by Bagoes Tresna, the video premiered on 2 October 2026 through Ade Nurulianto’s YouTube channel.
The album also features “Blue. (feat. Mads Wegner)”, an almost eight-minute instrumental closing track created with Mads Wegner, guitarist of Mew. Former Mew vocalist Jonas Bjerre also contributed as recording engineer. Built entirely around guitar, drums, and bass, the track closes the album without lyrics, giving listeners space to experience its emotions in their own way.
For Gloria Jessica, the album represents more than a musical collaboration. “I learned a lot from Kak Ade, not only as a collaborator or musician, but also about life, struggle, and career,” she shared. Ade Govinda, meanwhile, describes the project as an album designed to accompany listeners through heartbreak, encouraging them to experience all 11 songs rather than only the previously released tracks.
With ‘Blue.’, Gloria Jessica and Ade Govinda invite listeners to experience heartbreak in its many forms and find their own meaning within each story. The album is now available on digital music platforms worldwide, with “Timpang” and its official music video available alongside the full album. As Gloria puts it, everyone deserves to love, be loved fully, and be completely happy.
