Sannakji or live octopus is a exotic traditional dish from South Korea. The octopus is still partly alive when you eat it, since the octopus’ tentacles are still moving around while it’s being served. They usually cut the octopus in small pieces, poured with sesame oil or soy sauce, and topped with sesame seeds.
A lot of tourists like the dish. A lot of them say that it tastes like chicken and shrimp. But still, if you are going to eat it, be careful with the suction of the partly alive tentacles. It could stick to your inner mouth, like tongue, gum, or even your throat!
