“This song promotes selflessness instead of selfishness,” stated Jaz. She believes that knowing your partner’s sentiments helps increase calmness and strengthen the connection. “During an LDR, individuals often focus solely on their own sentiments, such as missing loved ones, problems, and the need for certainty. The song started with a Jaz-Jemsi demo. She worked with Barsena as vocal director and Kenny Gabriel as producer during production. Jaz was heavily involved in creating the lyrics, drawing from her personal experiences. Personal experiences influenced the feelings expressed in the songs. “I want this song to be relatable and help people cope with feeling alone,” Jaz stated.
Jaz recorded the music video for “Tak Biasa” at Jungle House, Bali, a site with special memories for her. “It was special to shoot my first music video at my favorite place,” she happily said. As a 23-year-old artist, Jaz thinks her song will resonate with Indonesian audiences. “I hope to have a successful start in the Indonesian music industry and continue to create consistently,” stated Jaz.
