Bingkai Karya – To celebrate their remarkable 25 year journey in the Indonesian music industry, Mocca has released a special 7″ 33 RPM vinyl edition of their mini album ‘Life In Bloom’ on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
An Intimate Launch for Vinyl Collectors
The launch event took place at PHR Bintaro, accompanied by an intimate listening session and a signing opportunity for early buyers. Attended by around 30 vinyl collectors, the gathering offered a warm and personal atmosphere. In addition to signing the vinyl copies, Riko, Arina, Indra, and Toma also answered questions about the creative process behind the album and the production of the ‘Life In Bloom’ vinyl release.
A standout feature of this edition is its zoetrope style artwork printed directly on the surface of the record. A zoetrope vinyl is a special type of pressing that displays a series of miniature illustrations. When played on a turntable and viewed through a smartphone camera or even with the naked eye under strobe light, it creates the illusion of movement or animation.
“This might be the first zoetrope vinyl produced by a band in Indonesia,” explained Riko Prayitno. He added, “The idea came from my desire to create a special release, and it was warmly welcomed by Ahmad R (Djali), who worked as the illustrator and animator for the zoetrope design.”
The production of this vinyl was handled directly by Kamengski Records. Distribution to physical record stores and the Instagram account @moccamerch begins on December 10, 2025, in limited quantities. Vinyl enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their own copy before it sells out.
