Bingkai Karya – Jakarta-based singer-songwriter Jaz Rowe has released her newest single, “Tiba-Tiba Sayang.” This is her second single, following her debut track “Tak Biasa,” which came out on January 10, 2025. The song tells the story of a relationship where feelings of love come suddenly—but sadly, not at the same time for both people.
“I chose this theme because I wanted to release something catchy, playful, and fun—something that could show more of my personality to listeners,” Jaz Rowe said. “Tiba-Tiba Sayang” sends a message that in love, it’s important to give time and space for feelings to grow naturally.
The track was written by Jaz Rowe, Andre Dinuth, and Desmon Latif. It was supported by a strong creative team: Bianca Nelwan as vocal director, Andre Dinuth and Desmon Latif as producers, Rayendra Sunito as mixing engineer, and Ian Charlie as mastering engineer. Jaz Rowe’s playful personality is also shown in the music video, which uses comedy to reflect her daily life. The video captures the colorful streets of Blok M, where Jaz often interacts with people through fun and entertaining content.
“With this video, I want to show more of how I act in daily life, especially since lately I’ve been spending a lot of time around Blok M,” Jaz shared. The main character in the video is Alfian, a person who imagines being in a relationship with Jaz Rowe. Alfian’s scenes became the highlight of the video. One of the funniest moments, according to Jaz, was when Alfian had to eat kerupuk rengginang and stay still in the same position during the shoot. It ended up being a memorable part of the filming.
Jaz Rowe is known for being hands-on with every part of her work—from writing songs to shaping video concepts—making sure each detail reflects her vision as an artist. This song isn’t just about love. Jaz also shares a meaningful reminder:
“Take your time. Good things happen at the right time. If you rush it, it might not work out because it’s not time yet. Sometimes we want to hurry, but there are important steps we need to take first. So go with the glow—be patient, but still stay happy and enjoy the journey.”
