Bingkai Karya – Indie folk singer songwriter Adhitia Sofyan invites listeners to slow down and embrace the quiet moments of life through his new album, “Observasi Transisi,” officially released on November 6, 2025.

The album features 11 new tracks that explore transitions, solitude, and emotional growth, a heartfelt offering for those who seek calm in a fast paced, noisy world.

In an era where everything moves too quickly, “Observasi Transisi” becomes a serene pause, a space to reconnect with oneself amid life’s constant rush. The opening track, “Pencerita,” released earlier in June, set the tone for this reflective journey, inviting listeners to observe, feel, and understand change without resistance.

A Journey Through Feelings and Self Observation

The album was born from moments of emotional transition when feelings shift, perspectives evolve, and one learns to simply observe without reacting.

“If we’re lucky, sometimes we get the chance to step back and truly look at life. To be an observer instead of reacting emotionally, that’s where we begin to open ourselves up more to living,” shares Adhitia Sofyan, explaining the meaning behind the album title.

Marking his first full length album entirely in Indonesian, “Observasi Transisi” also brings Adhitia back to his acoustic roots, enriched with touches of bossa nova and orchestral string arrangements, adding warmth and depth to his signature sound.

From Romance to Self Reflection

Across its 11 tracks, “Observasi Transisi” moves from tales of love to moments of introspection, capturing emotional transitions with gentle storytelling and layered melodies.

Tracklist:

  1. Sembunyi Dulu
  2. Astronot dan Arkeolog
  3. Bentang Sayap
  4. Jauh di, Mata Jauh
  5. Menunggu oh Menanti
  6. Pencerita
  7. Dialog Diri
  8. Sumbang
  9. Sandera
  10. Destinasi
  11. Penutupan

Opening with “Sembunyi Dulu,” the album encourages listeners to take a moment to breathe, realign, and find stillness before returning to reality. Songs like “Pencerita,” “Dialog Diri,” and “Sumbang” explore self awareness and emotional honesty themes that mark a new creative direction for Adhitia, who was previously best known for romantic storytelling.

“Writing about love often feels self centered, it’s about how I feel,” Adhitia reflects. “This time, I wanted to understand what others feel too. Life isn’t always beautiful; struggles and hardships are part of it, and they deserve to be told.”

As a closing note to his listeners, Adhitia adds,

“This album is a space for anyone who wants to be alone and reconnect with themselves. Sometimes, we avoid that kind of conversation because it feels uncomfortable but it’s where we truly grow.”

“Observasi Transisi” is now available on all streaming platforms starting November 6, 2025.
