BINUS University through School of Computer Science aims to accomplish the vision of “Fostering and Empowering the Nation” by collaborating with Polytechnic University of The Philippines and University of Muhammadiyah Malang in The 8th International Conference on Computer Science and Computational Intelligence (ICCSCI). The conference was held on August 2-3, 2023 at BINUS @Malang.
ICCSCI is an annual event held in order to facilitate researchers, engineers, and scientists to spread their knowledge and research results in computer science, computational intelligence, and information technology fields. ICCSCI invited potential researchers to send their papers to ICCSCI with the purpose of exchanging knowledge among researchers across the world.

“We hope that in the future, the participants can be actively involved in developing AI innovation for the betterment of the society and for the future industry as well as supporting the DIgital Technopreneur industry. We also believe that technology and entrepreneurship can be in line in creating positive value for society. Through this event, we hope that it can boost more collaborations and innovations in computer science and computational intelligence fields as well as bringing advanced and real solutions for society and industry in the future,” stated Dr. Robert Tang Herman, S.E., M.M, the Campus Director of BINUS @Malang.
In ICCSCI 2023, there was a General Seminar and Research Dissemination. The General Seminar was attended by prominent speakers in academics and industries. The speakers were Prof. Madya DR Mohamed Imran Mohammed Ariff from University Technology MARA Perak Branch, Malaysia, Tahir Mohammad, PhD., MSc., B. Tech from University of Turku, Finland, Prof. Agus Harjoko, Drs., M.Sc., PhD. from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Dr. Ir. Yaya Heryadi, M.Sc., CDS., CDRAI. from BINUS University, and Bapak Abidin Riyadi Abie as CIO Toyota Astra Finance. The speakers discussed recent issues on computer science and computational intelligence. Meanwhile, Research Dissemination facilitated the researchers sending their papers to present it online and offline.
Through ICCSCI 2023 that has become a place to share knowledge in computer science and computational intelligence fields and as Digital Technopreneur campus, BINUS @Malang becomes the milestone in linking scientists, researchers, practitioners, and students from various parts of the world, strengthening the global network in driving the development of intelligent and innovative technology.
