Bingkai Karya – Thai duo LANDOKMAI is making their first steps into the global music scene with their new English single ‘Hearsay’, the first single to be revealed from their much-anticipated first English EP WHAT EVE, which will be released later this year.
The duo, comprising Upim and Ant, aim to break boundaries and defy conventions with this new release, channeling their true selves through music that reflects their beliefs, passions, and a fearless pursuit of what they love.
The new single ‘Hearsay’ embodies the core concept of the upcoming EP. Inspired by stories from the people around her, Upim wrote this song as a response to societal expectations and the pressure to conform, whether it’s being told what not to do, or being discouraged from trying something new.
LANDOKMAI is a rising female indie-pop duo under the Thai label What The Duck, and are known for their dreamy soundscapes and vintage lo-fi flair. The duo blends ethereal synths, acoustic guitars, and youthful storytelling into their own signature style, where dreamy meets nostalgic, and reality blurs into fantasy.
Having spent over four years building their artistic voice, LANDOKMAI has become one of the most beloved indie acts among Thai Gen Z audiences. Their viral hit ‘First Love Song’ has amassed over 11 million views on YouTube and over 8 million Spotify streams, even sparking a TikTok trend with more than 100,000 user-generated clips.
In 2023, LANDOKMAI teamed up with Korean indie-pop trio wave to earth for a special live session featuring wave to earth’s ‘Daisy’ and LANDOKMAI’s ‘With All My Heart’, creating a soft, seamless fusion of Thai and Korean indie aesthetics.
In 2024, LANDOKMAI was invited to perform at the Neon Oasis Festival in Taiwan, marking a new chapter with the release of their highly anticipated full-length album All My Purple Feelings.
