Gold-certified singer and songwriter from Los Angeles Em Beihold reveals a new single and music video entitled “Too Precious” via Moon Projects/Republic Records. Em confessed that she wrote the song after someone called her “too precious” for not being into the whole partying, drinking, even drugs like most people her age. She wanted to write something about herself and share it to those who don’t do the “cool kids” thingy and feel the exact same way.
Meanwhile, her breakout smash “Numb Little Gold” just received a gold certification from the RIAA. It was her debut single that has been flying since its release. After tallying 12 million streams during its first week alone, the song is is currently in the Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song also leapt into the Top 10 on the TikTok US Top Tracks and “Top 10 at Hot AC and Top 30 on the AC Radio airplay chart. Stereogumproclaimed’s hot take on this is that tons of pop singers have made a living on juxtaposing vulnerable lyrics with upbeat melodies, but Beihold definitely takes it to a new level.
