Bingkai Karya – After a long hiatus, musician and actress, Canti, officially returns with a new single, ‘’Tak Sempurna’’. This one is special as it marks a duet with her husband, renowned Indonesian actor Adipati Dolken. ‘’Tak Sempurna’’ is available on digital streaming platforms starting July 11, 2025.
In this song, the couple explores the dynamics of a relationship that may not always be smooth but is still worth fighting for, “‘’Tak Sempurna’’ is very personal. We wanted to show that real love isn’t about perfection, but more about enduring and growing together,” said Adipati.
Written by Agustin Oendari, composed & produced by Ivan Gojaya, ‘’Tak Sempurna’’ is a collaborative piece by a duo of musicians well-known for their emotionally rich romantic duets.
Ivan Gojaya has previously produced Canti’s songs, Sanubariku and Mata Hati. Together with Agustin Oendari, this couple is recognized for their romantic works featured in various Indonesian film soundtracks, including Selamat Pagi Malam (from the film Selamat Pagi Malam), the soundtracks from Galih & Ratna, Percaya (from the film Pasutri Gaje, as well as Jarak and several other tracks from the Akhirat: A Love Story soundtrack, a film that also starred Adipati Dolken.
Simple yet heartfelt, ‘Tak Sempurna’ speaks to anyone who has ever fallen in love (and been hurt by it). The light acoustic sound, organic instrumentation, and emotionally driven lyrics makes this song a perfect fit for romantic, melancholic, or weekend playlists, “Many people think we’re always happy just because of what they see on social media. But, in reality, we go through rough days too. Through ‘Tak Sempurna’, we want to show that love can still grow, even when it’s not always easy,” said Canti.
As an extra surprise, Adipati also directed the official music video for ‘Tak Sempurna’. Along with the celebration of the digital release, the music video of ‘Tak Sempurna’ premiered during a special release party and press conference event, Sore yang Sempurna, held at La Moda Café, Plaza Indonesia, on July 11, 2025. The music video stars Jefri Nichol, and a surprise guest couple revealed during the premiere.
More than just a song, ‘Tak Sempurna’ serves as a symbol of Adipati’s heartfelt gesture of support as he accompanies Canti on her musical journey, not only as a duet partner and music video director, but most importantly, as a loving husband. This single marks the beginning of a new chapter, the start of the journey toward Canti’s debut album, set for release in early 2026.
