Charlie Oriain Offers the Whole World in “Wish I Could”

Charlie Oriain releases a new song “Wish I Could”. This song is about wanting to offer someone the world even though you know they deserve better. It’s a feeling of guilt for wasting their time while still showing the value they have in your life. (Ativan)

This song expresses lots of the things Charlie Oriain has been unable to say in person and acts as a draft letter to the one he left behind. Charlie is a London-based artist and songwriter originally from the Isle of Wight. After dropping out of school to work on a construction site, he later fell in love with writing genuine, thoughtful lyrics.

A viral duet called “Meant To Be” helped Charlie make his debut in 2021. This led to him releasing his debut EP, “Homesick,” which addressed the mix of feelings. Those are the emotions that follow moving away from home: excitement over newly discovered freedom, anxiety about aging, and loss for loved ones left behind.
