Bingkai Karya – Chintya Gabriella returns with her latest work, a brand new single titled “Panjang Umur”, a song written especially for those celebrating their birthday. But beyond being just a cheerful greeting, this track carries a deeper message about self love. “The inspiration for this single actually came from people celebrating their birthdays. But behind that, there are also those who rarely celebrate themselves and tend to keep everything inside. That’s where the idea for this song was born,” shared the sweet voiced singer from Medan.
Following her two previous singles that involved Petra Sihombing, their collaboration continues in “Panjang Umur”, where both took part in writing the lyrics and arranging the song. Although they brought different perspectives, the small challenge eventually turned into a refreshing outcome. “The production process took around two months. I first drafted the song in 2024, but it was still incomplete back then. Only when it was chosen as my third single did I continue working on it with Petra’s help in 2025,” Chintya explained.
“Panjang Umur” still carries Chintya’s signature style, both lyrically and melodically, with a theme not far from her earlier releases. This time, however, she felt she was trying something new. “This song falls into the ‘middle song’ category, and for this one I entrusted the backing vocals to Kamga. I feel that the treatment he gave brought a fresher color to my music, making it slightly different from before.” For reference, Chintya mentioned American singer songwriter Meghan Trainor as one of her inspirations while working on the track.
Through “Panjang Umur”, Chintya hopes to deliver a simple yet meaningful message, celebrating another year of life is a blessing. “Sometimes we treat birthdays like just another day, but in reality, they are a rare chance to start fresh in the new year. I want to encourage my listeners that there’s always new hope, and to never forget to celebrate yourself because that’s part of self love,” she said.
Beyond her wish for the song to be enjoyed and resonate with many people, Chintya added, “I hope ‘Panjang Umur’ serves as a reminder for all of us to love ourselves more and to appreciate every moment we’ve gone through.”
Chintya Gabriella’s newest single, “Panjang Umur”, will be available on all digital streaming platforms starting October 3.
ABOUT CHINTYA GABRIELLA
Chintya Gabriella Panggabean began her music career by covering songs on social media, which she later uploaded to her YouTube channel. A meeting with a senior musician led her to release her debut single “Percaya Aku” in 2019, which climbed the charts on several digital platforms and earned her a nomination as Best New Female Artist at the 2020 AMI Awards. Her first self written song, “Nikmati Perjalanannya”, has been streamed over seven million times on Spotify, topped the Instagram Top Song chart, and went viral on TikTok.
In 2024, Chintya signed with WeCord and released the single “Ambisius”, followed by her second single “Cerita Besar” on March 18, 2025. Not wanting to take too much time off, she returned with her third single, which also marks her third collaboration with Petra Sihombing, “Panjang Umur”, available to stream starting October 3.
