Bingkai Karya – Dere, in collaboration with Tiga Dua Satu, has officially released her second album titled ‘Berbunga’, which tells a heartfelt story of love in all its hues. The album features 10 tracks that serve as an expressive space for Dere to reflect on love — how it grows, breaks, and blossoms, much like flowers.
Two talented producers, Yoseph Sitompul and Mikha Angelo, played vital roles in shaping the sound of Berbunga. The album showcases a variety of musical explorations, including fresh arrangements, digital elements, rhythmic play, and even a touch of rap. Dere also teamed up with renowned artist Tulus in crafting lyrics and melodies.
“In the studio, we tried many new things,” said Dere. “While working on ‘Puspa’ with Bang Yoseph, the rhythm inspired me to spontaneously rap. Then, while crafting ‘Lampu Sorot’ with Kak Mikha, we had fun exploring unique sounds—from crackling fire to gusts of wind. I truly enjoyed the process of making this album and I hope listeners can feel that same excitement and joy.”
“Two years after the ‘Rubik’ album, Dere shows growth in both lyrical depth and thematic maturity,” added producer Mikha Angelo. “From the three songs we worked on together — ‘Mawar,’ ‘Bengis,’ and ‘Lampu Sorot’ — each had its own specific story. It was creatively fulfilling to explore different instrumentation and emotional tones.”
