Bingkai Karya – After releasing their 2023 single “Kembali,” early 2000s pop jazz band Écoutez returns to greet their loyal listeners with a brand new single titled “Cerita Kita,” which officially drops across all digital platforms on October 31, 2025.
Formed on November 1, 2005, Écoutez now consisting of Delia (vocals), Leo (bass), Iyas (keyboard), and Jay (drums) has been known for timeless hits such as “Percayalah,” “Simpan Saja,” and “Are You Really the One.” For nearly two decades, their signature pop jazz sound has left a lasting mark on Indonesia’s music scene.
Unlike their previous heartbreak themed songs, “Cerita Kita” offers a refreshing narrative about friendship, unity, and shared journeys, reflecting the band’s deep bond as a family, especially with Delia’s return after a 12 year hiatus.
“This song is our way of expressing gratitude and happiness. Even after being apart, family will always find a way back to each other,” said Écoutez.
Blending their signature pop jazz elements with a rich string section arrangement, “Cerita Kita” delivers warm harmonies, heartfelt melodies, and touching lyrics, making it the perfect soundtrack for togetherness, friendship, and timeless love.
The track was written by Widyo Prastowo, Fajrul Ahsan Fikri, Leo Christian, and Amelia Septianti, with Pahlevi Indra C. Santoso serving as the music producer and executive producer.
