Emo and Alternative sounds to engage the listener with thought-provoking lyrics, Crooked Teeth Releases New Single “Swing Life Away”

Bingkai Karya – Californian band Crooked Teeth offer a unique blend of eclectic yet gratifying mixture of pop punk, emo and alternative sounds to engage the listener with thought-provoking lyrics. The band formed in 2016 has opened for As It Is, This Wild Life and also performed at Emo Nite LA.

The cover showcases Crooked Teeth’s knack for creating infectious energy. Tyson’s vocals deliver a heartfelt sincerity, pairing effortlessly with upbeat rhythms and Jason’s dynamic drumming. The result is a track that swaps the melancholic tones of the original for a fresh and spirited perspective.

What sets this version apart is how naturally it fits within Crooked Teeth’s existing style. It’s a reimagining that feels like an original song from the band’s catalog. By infusing their signature sound, Crooked Teeth maintains the emotional core of “Swing Life Away” while making it a high-energy anthem fit for singalongs.

Lead singer Tyson adds about the cover  “This is the song that Jason (drummer) and I have talked about covering since around the time that he joined the band. He told me that when he was a teenager that there was a school project where like he wanted to cover this song.”

The band share their own-pop punk cover of the Rise Against ballad “Swing Life Away.” Connect with Crooked Teeth on their Instagram and listen to their new single on Spotify
