Bingkai Karya – Fabio Asher returns with his latest heartfelt single, “NIKMATI SAKITNYA.” Known for his emotional vocal delivery and melancholic lyrics, the Indonesian pop singer officially releases his first single of 2026. The song tells the story of someone who chooses to keep loving their partner despite realizing that the relationship is painful and unbalanced. He understands that he is often ignored, only sought out when needed, and never fully appreciated by the person he loves. Even so, he continues to stay because his love is simply too great to let go.
In the creative process behind the song, Fabio collaborated with several notable names, including S/EEK as the music arranger, who has previously worked on a number of Fabio’s songs. Trakast and Yafi Aria also returned to help compose the track, while Plato Ginting served as the vocal director. The song was further refined by Yafi Aria as vocal editor and Tito P. Soenardi for mixing and mastering. Alongside the single release, Fabio also unveiled a music video in which he stars as the main character. The video portrays someone trying to accept the painful reality of constantly being hurt by their partner, yet still choosing to stay.
“NIKMATI SAKITNYA” marks another important step and further proves Fabio Asher’s existence in the Indonesian music industry, following the release of his debut album “EVERLAST” last year and a string of hit songs such as “Bertahan Terluka,” “Rumah Singgah,” “Tanpa Rasa Bersalah,” and “Berharap Kau Kembali,” all of which topped various national and international music charts. On February 2, 2022, Fabio Asher released “Bertahan Terluka” under the independent label MJ Entertainment. The song successfully reached #2 on the Spotify Top 200 Indonesia chart and #1 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Indonesia. It also topped Spotify Viral Top 50 Malaysia and Spotify Viral 50 Global. In addition, the track achieved #1 on Apple Music Top 100 Indonesia and #5 on Apple Music Top 100 Malaysia.
Then, on May 5, 2022, Fabio released his second single titled “Rumah Singgah,” which later reached #2 on Spotify Top 200 Indonesia, #6 on Spotify Viral 50 Indonesia, #2 on Spotify Viral 200 Malaysia, and #3 on Spotify Viral Top 50 Malaysia. On Apple Music, the song climbed to #3 on Apple Music Top 100 Indonesia and #1 on Apple Music Top 100 Malaysia.
On August 8, 2022, Fabio released a double single titled “Hati Lain Di Hatimu” and “Akhir Yang Manis.” “Hati Lain Di Hatimu” once again entered the Apple Music Top 100 charts in both Indonesia and Malaysia, reaching #35. On February 2, 2023, Fabio successfully released his first mini album, “ASHER,” featuring seven tracks, including three brand-new songs that had never been released before.
From mid to late 2023, Fabio collaborated with several renowned musicians such as Andi Rianto, Brisia Jodie, and Prinsa Mandagie. On February 2, 2024, Fabio released the single “Berharap Kau Kembali,” which served as the lead single for his first full-length album “EVERLAST,” released on May 24, 2024, featuring 10 new tracks including “Berharap Kau Kembali.”
